Businesses will also have a board-room style meeting with HCC mentors and interns that will support and guide you each step of the way, transform your business, and diminish the digital divide.

Only 40 businesses will be selected depending on the needs showcased in the application.

Business Spotlight

Food is a journey… A story of both origin and movement

The best chefs have a story to share. They show the world their unique perspective through the food they create. COMMON COOKERY highlights the simple beauty of multicultural food. A place where food creatives can share their heritage in both traditional and contemporary ways. Whether you’re from Lafayette, Louisiana or Lima, Peru we believe that distinct flavor of regional food craft is something to celebrate.

Moses Iku is the Founder of Common Cookery; a curated digital marketplace that connects diaspora eaters to featured specialty restaurants and food creatives, who provide family-style and individual meal prep options for easy scheduling and pickup.

Founders Marisol Garcia and Stephanie Goni-Fuentes wanted to continue grandma’s unique and spicy salsa and created Cascabel Salsa Gourmet.

This handcrafted Mexican Spicy Roasted Chili Oil salsa includes simple and natural ingredients, (olive oil and a blend of three different chili peppers) following a traditional family recipe and preparation methods passed down from generations.

The result is a chili oil that will delight your taste buds: spicy, but with a distinct delectable smoky taste.

For them, Cascabel Salsa Gourmet is more than salsa, it’s family!
